Quick Illustrations for a Design Thinking Workshop with Coke for T20 Cricket World Cup
Project carried out Quicksand Design Studio
The Idea was to provide seamless entertainment and experience for cricket fans when the world was at halt during the pandemic, with restrictions imposed by authorities it wasn't feasible to give the same stadium-like experience to fans and players.
This workshop was carried out between coke and a few cricket fanatics to create a digital space for players fan interaction and to gamify the whole cricket watching experience. 
Below are the illustrated ideations from the workshop.
1. Virat Kohli creates a fitness app for people to stay fit during pandemic.
2. ''Guts of the Day' Award to the player that displayed a moment of daring/inspired guts.
3. Medical colleges and hospitals create a zone for frontline workers to enjoy the World Cup. 
4. Memorabilia Store: Repository of bats, merchandise, autographed items, and pieces of match history.
5. Coke fridge magnets with QR codes that directly take you to the live feed of the day's matches.
6. Competition to predict captain's decisions - giving fans a score based on the accuracy of their predictions.
7. Click a selfie at home with your favorite cricket star when he appears on your TV.
1. Coke store on Amazon - bringing merchandise that augment your cricket experience. 
2. Take your Dad to the game. Stories of moments you have shared with your Dad watching the game.
3. Dedicated stand for Covid warriors in the stadium
4. Mid-game Easter Eggs: Surprise snacks for Coke fans during the game
5."Near miss" Moments that fans remember besides what actually transpired.
6. Fan control/participation: for the armchair critics, you decide how a ball is played.
7. Ritual (TikTok style) signature move, coordinated through the Coke app on phone 
1. Meme of the Match
 - Fill in thought clouds, speech blurbs reflecting keeper - batsman or bowler - batsman interaction.
 - Fans can choose a key inflection point of the match by selecting a visual from the match.
 - Celebrity illustrators can refine the winning memes.

2. Augmented Reality Player 
 - AR app to capture player celebrations along with fan videos.
 - Cellphone reading of player info on app.
 - Pointing phone-camera on the player (on TV/laptop) brings up player info/trivia on your phone screen.
3. Cricket Currency (BatCoin)
 - Tokens to be won by taking part in a game where there are memorabilia to be won.
 -  Buy a Coke bottle, you scan and get a digital card. Start collecting 2 months ahead of the workshop (Panini).
 - Currency gets added and sits in your Coke app. 
 - Can buy a seat/memorabilia with it.


4. Virtual Stadium 
 - Creates a virtual stadium environment: you are shown who are sitting next to you and you can even talk to       them etc. 
 - Finite premium Virtual seat in the stadium - view from the seat is unique to you

5. Stadium Installations
 - Coca-Cola Bottle at the Stadium - Fans add their sticky notes with well wishes

6. Virtual stadium environment
 - Virtual stadium will be replicas of where matches are happening. 
 - Seats get points based on where in the stadium they are located.
 - Recording of cheers (virtual Mexican wave).
 - Chat platform on the virtual stadium (app).
5. Fan Connect: Personalization
 - Personally autographed memorabilia from a match:
  Buy a Coke > scan the QR code > Name your favorite star (e.g. MSD) > type why you love Coca-Cola >
  best answer wins a t-shirt/kit item autographed by MSD.

6. Home Streaming & Watch Parties
 - Augmented Reality based e-Poster (printable) for the fan's room that changes every day of the tournament with key highlights
